Terms of Service

1. The service

Accessibility Compliance Auditor (the “extension”) is a browser extension provided by Webstartiom that scans web pages for accessibility issues against WCAG and exports reports. The free tier scans pages locally; the Pro tier unlocks PDF compliance reports via a paid license.

2. Not legal advice

Automated testing detects only a portion of accessibility issues and cannot guarantee compliance with WCAG, the European Accessibility Act, the ADA, or any law. The extension and its reports are an audit aid only and do not constitute legal advice or a certification of compliance. You are responsible for manual review and for your own legal obligations.

3. Purchases & licenses

Pro purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record (it handles payment and applicable taxes). A Pro purchase grants you a personal license to use the Pro features, subject to the activation limits shown at checkout. Licenses may be moved between devices using the deactivation control in the extension.

4. Refunds

Refund requests are handled in accordance with Lemon Squeezy’s policies. If something isn’t working, contact us first at support@wcagwise.com and we’ll help.

5. Acceptable use

Use the extension lawfully. Do not attempt to resell, redistribute, or circumvent the license, or misrepresent the extension’s output as a legal compliance guarantee.

6. Warranty & liability

The extension is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webstartiom is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on the extension’s output.

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version.
